Video & Audio Surveillance Policy

At Prestigious Academy, your child’s safety is our top priority. To support a secure and nurturing environment for children, staff, and visitors, our facility is monitored through a video and audio surveillance system.

📍 Where Cameras Are Located:

Our surveillance system covers key areas of the campus, including:

•Front Lobby

•Classrooms

•Kitchen

•Outdoor Playground

Cameras are not installed in any private spaces such as bathrooms or diaper-changing areas.

🎯 Why We Use Surveillance:

Our system supports:

•Child safety monitoring

•Staff supervision and training

•Incident review and accountability

•Compliance with state licensing and health standards

All recordings are securely stored and only accessed by the Owner, Director, Assistant Director, or authorized IT/Safety personnel.

✅ Parent & Guardian Notice:

•Parents are informed at enrollment and upon updates.

•Your signed acknowledgment form confirms your consent for yourself and your child to be recorded while on the premises.

•Footage is never shared publicly, and any viewing of recordings related to your child will only be handled by leadership in private, as needed.

🚪 Visitor Notice:

All visitors must sign in at the front desk, where they will be notified of our active surveillance.

Signage is posted at all entrances informing everyone that both video and audio recording are in use.

By entering, you consent to being recorded while on-site.

🔐 Your Privacy Matters:

•Recordings are used only for internal safety and operational purposes.

•No footage is used for promotional or external purposes.

•Surveillance is part of our commitment to transparency and accountability in child care.
